The Story

General rules of the game

🎶 The year is 1989 and The Scottish band The Proclaimers’ “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” has topped the charts.

🏰 Lady Eveline MacLeod, a wealthy widow, found dead in her grand estate—suspected suicide—and suspicion looms over those closest to her. She was a woman of power, wealth, and secrets 🤐 — loved by some, despised by many 💔. Her recent decision to leave her fortune 💷 to the lost children of Dundee, rather than her son William, created a storm of resentment 🌪️.

🕵️‍♂️ So… step into 1989 and join Detective Taggart for an exclusive Murder Mystery Dinner Party like no other.
🔎 A crime has been committed — but who is the killer?

 How It Works – Murder Mystery Events

📍 Choose Your Own Venue

  • Book a venue of your choice — pub, restaurant, private home, or function hall

  • I travel to your selected location as an independent mobile performer

👥 Group Size

  • Works best with 15 to 21 participants for the most engaging experience

  • Can be adapted for slightly smaller or larger groups

🍽️ Food & Format

  • You organise your own menu — perfect for multi-course meals

  • The show runs alongside the dinner, lasting around 2.5 to 3 hours

  • Suspects and witnesses are questioned between each course

🕵️‍♀️ Character Assignments

  • Each guest receives a pre-event email with their character profile

  • On the night, they also get a printed character profile pamphlet

  • Dressing up is optional — costumes are encouraged but not required

🔍 The Show

  • Interactive, immersive performance with guest participation

  • Mystery unfolds in stages, building suspense and fun

  • Culminates in a dramatic murder conclusion where the killer is revealed
